The Next Generation of Supercars Is About to Land

Boy oh boy, the rich are about to have an ample playground of new supercars to enjoy.

Pure performance, ultimate luxury, scarce prestige and sheer sexiness all lie ahead for the garages of the wealthy. Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Spyker and Porsche all are readying new offerings designed to capture the hearts of enthusiasts and the dollars of the one percent.

This newest class of automobile extravagance will likely debut to the world in Geneva next month, but information is slowly leaking across the interwebs at this very moment. Here’s what we know so far.

The Ferrari Enzo-replacing F150 is rumored to carry a price of one million Euro. That’s almost $1.4 million for us Yanks. Only 499 cars will be produced, and they are all sold out. Amazing, considering the vast majority of Earthlings have yet to see what it even looks like.

Images of the new Bentley Flying Spur have surfaced, which Autoblog notes looks like a junior Mulsanne. To me, the Bentley still looks like a souped-up Chrysler.

Not to be outdone, Rolls-Royce will refine its firm hold on luxury with the 2014 Wraith. Yes, it’s called the Rolls-Royce Wraith (maybe it sounds better with a British accent). Interior teaser images have been released, with the full reveal coming in Geneva.

Aston Martin continues to test and refine the new Vanquish Volante, easily the sexiest of the supercars. Expect Aston’s 6.0-liter V12 to provide the push.

We’ve mentioned Spyker’s desire to take on the Porsche 911, and it appears the Swedish company does indeed plan a Geneva reveal of the car it thinks can steal some sales from the Germans. I wouldn’t exactly call it a 911-killer, but will certainly watch with interest.

Finally, for those with slightly more realistic aspirations, the 2014 Porsche Cayman S aims to provide one of the purest and most satisfying driving experiences currently known to man.

If I couldn’t get my hands on the Aston, my next choice would be the Cayman. No matter how much money I had in the bank.

Which of these coming supercars would you most want to own?
