For many of us, our very first love was a car.
Everyone remembers that first love, a special car or truck that is remembered as a ticket to freedom and, possibly, the spark that ignited a lifetime of automotive enthusiasm.
For most, that first car was a rattling heap of junk that is long gone but left plenty of fond memories in its place. For others, the first car has inspired restoration projects meant to simulate the feeling of youth. For a select few, that first car is still in the garage, loved more with each passing year.

Today the car has not only been restored, but customized to include a 620-hp GM engine. Sweet!
In an interview with Autoweek, Rowe said his first car was a 1978 Ford Mustang. Believe it or not, he also said he’d buy another one! Being a Ford spokesman must be going to his head. Restoring one sure would be a Dirty Job (I could go on…).

What was your first car? Do you have fond memories of it?
