The New York International Auto Show’s press preview is less than 24 hours away, and CarGurus will once again be in attendance, delivering updates and footage of the show’s most exciting and noteworthy debuts. Concern Rises Over U.S. Auto Market While Mexico’s Thrives
Mexico isn’t known for its thriving economy or world-class production facilities. A week spent there earlier this month showed me that it’s a country filled with delightful people, gorgeous beaches, and a rich and colorful culture—but is also rife with political turmoil, poverty, and violent crime.
Mexico is still classified as a developing country but has potential to overcome its problems and compete in the world economy.

The cars most likely to see true off-road action are the Jeep Wrangler, the returning Ford Bronco (we hope), and now, a potential successor to Toyota’s much-loved FJ Cruiser. Continue reading >>>
Early Favorites: Which 2017 Will You Test Drive?
Winter Storm Stella, microwave cameras, and St. Patrick dominated the news this week, but we’re more interested in the 2017 model year and which new cars shoppers want to see themselves driving. We’ve published 37 Test Drive Reviews of 2017 vehicles so far, and we’re going to take a look at those vehicles that have garnered the most inquiries from CarGurus shoppers. We haven’t spent enough time with a bunch of big sellers to review them yet, so we suspect our end-of-year list will look different, but we want to see which 2017s have already started generating interest. If you were buying a new car this year, do you know which 2017 you’d want to test drive first? Continue reading >>>
